L.A.: This week we will be reading the story, “Science Friction”. With this, we will be doing Reader’s Notebook pages 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, and 93.
Here are this week’s vocabulary words with a focus on decomposition, detached, specimens, compromise, and shriveled. The vocabulary skill we will be working on this week are the latin roots sub (meaning below, under, smaller, or less than), ultra (beyond or very), and aud (to hear or listen).

Science: First and foremost, remember the first draft is due on Monday. The Parent/Adult Edit sheet, which I will hand out on Monday, is due by Thursday. For more or new copies of anything, please refer to the original post.
While I look at the drafts on Monday, the students will be working on a Navigation by the North Star worksheet.
Tuesday and Wednesday we will be reviewing using this Study Guide for the unit test which we will take on Thursday.
