L.A.: We will have one more week without a story as we continue to keep our focus on writing. Remember, the end of level writing exam is next week. Please make sure the students are here for it. Wednesday and Thursday are specifically our two testing days. We will be focusing this week on typing from start to finish within a certain time frame, so there won’t be any homework that comes from it because it will all be done in class.
We will still have a grammar quiz and a grammar lesson. This week’s lesson will be on the progressive forms of verbs. You can find this on Reader’s Notebook pages 295-297.
We didn’t do much with spelling last week, so we will be continuing that Spelling List into this week. With that, we will do Reader’s Notebook pages 256-258 as practice.
Science: Our class is little behind the rest, so we will be continuing to finish up the light unit as the rest of the classes start into the sound Unit. Hopefully, over the next week or two I can get us caught up and back onto the same page as everyone else.
Please remember to continue working on Science Fair. We’ve only got two weeks left until the final projects are due.
Field Trip: The Field Trip is this Thursday. Please remember that we will be meeting at the Clearfield Train Station at 8:20 that day, rather than the school.
