Gingerbread Houses

One of our behavior incentives in class is a marble jar they fill by earning points throughout the day.  Once it is full, they have earned a class party.  I have decided the marble jar is getting full enough that I “hope” their behavior is good enough to top it off before the break. In fact, I’ve already planned it on the 19th.  we are going to be building Gingerbread Houses. I was thinking, kind of like this:

What do you think? It’d make a beautiful centerpiece for your table!

Seriously though, we are going to be building them.  I usually supply the students with a milk carton for a base that they can use frosting and graham crackers to build around.  From there, they can decorate it with candies however they see fit.  Here are some examples from previous years.

Now here is what I need help with….supplies.  More specifically, candy and frosting.  I have already purchased plates.  We are going to need boxes of graham crackers, tubs of frosting, and any candies they might want to put onto the houses. Any help I can get in the donating of these items will help my pocket book a lot. Students could start bringing supplies as early as Monday, but please make sure they have them here by Thursday the 18th, so I know if there is anything I need to purchase that night, before the building on the 19th.

Thank you in advance for anything you will be able to supply to help us out.
