L.A.: This is the first week of “The Great Fire”. Listed below are the vocabulary words for this story. We will focus on ambled, ornately, hazards, unrelenting, and alleviate. This week’s vocabulary skill is changing words from a verb to a noun by changing the ending to -ion, such as decide to decision, -ation, such as prepare to preparation, and -ism, such as tour to tourism.
There are a couple of pages from last week’s Reader’s Notebook set that we will still be working on this week, 152 and 153. We will also be working with a this week’s pages, specifically, 160-165.
Spelling: Spelling Lists
Science: We didn’t have time for the quiz last week so we will be taking it on Monday. Tuesday we are going to be taking a look at some of the Moon Questions that are in the Sage system. Wednesday and Thursday we will start into Season, which is the second half of the current unit.
