Human Solar System

On Friday, we went outside as a sixth grade and created what I refer to as a Human Solar System. One of my favorite pictures from this, I have modified below to point out which planet is which.  The top part of the picture is just a blown up piece of the top of the picture. It shows the scale of our Solar System in distance and size.  Mercury is represented by one student, Jupiter is represented by 38. All four inner planets are in the first four steps.  They spread out from there to poor little Pluto which is 100 steps away from the Sun, represented by the camera.

Human Solar SystemHere is another representation of Our Solar System.  This is one poster for each planet.  There are 105 of these posters hanging in our stairwell, so please feel free to check them out during conferences.  This is by far one of of my favorite projects we do all year!
