I would have to say we had an excellent first week! I realize we’ve only had two days, but I think the other 178 are going to be fantastic! I think this is the first year I’ve ever had every kids’ name down within the first few days, but they’ve made it easy. We’ve got some great kids that I’m really excited to teach!

During our Welcome assembly, the school was able to introduce us to our new school mascot. Meet Fortis the Dragon! You’ll see him at sporting events and other things throughout the year!
This is a shot from the team building activity we did on Thursday. Each class was given a scooter and a rope, and they had to figure out how to get across the court without touching the ground. It requires a lot of communication, and I’d say, though we ran out of time and every student did not get across, they learned a lot about the importance of talking things with the group.
I’m telling you, we’ve got a great year ahead of us!!!
