The kindness of our community, especially all associated with my class, has simply amazed me this year. It makes a warm place in my heart when our class alone can come up with 193 cans of food to donate to the food shelter. To all who gave so freely, thank you! At this time of year, I know it can be difficult, so thank you! Thank you for giving, and thank you for being a part of our glowing presence even if you were unable to give.
This was the best picture I could get before the student government took them away. The box around the corner of the bookshelf is full, the even larger box up front it mostly full, and there are still cans sitting to the side. 193 in total from just our class! Whether or not we earn the pizza party from the competition, this overwhelming feeling of joy this gives me is reward enough for me!
