Language Arts – I’ve decided we’re going to the ACES Phone after all, so this week we will be reading that story along with the doing the skills for the next. It will be the Myers Family that we skip. This week will be doing Reader’s Notebook pages 53, 54, 55, and 56 and possibly 52. I’m planning a different art activity for homophones and I haven’t decided if it will replace the page or coincide with it.
Here’s a copy of the vocab words for this week. The vocab assignment will focus on these five words: void, clustered, doleful, clamor, and coaxed.

Science: This week we are going to finish reading our booklet on space rocks (comets, meteors, and asteroids.) After that we will review what we read through the notes we’ve been taking, and then take a quiz on them. We will also begin talking about Technology in Space.
