Every year, one of our assignments from DARE is to build a box that the students can put questions into for the DARE Officer. The questions can be personal questions about the officer, questions about DARE, and anything around it, including personal things that are kept confidential between the officer and the student. Our class wanted to build a gumball machine. They came up with a plan, and I facilitated it. I helped with the mechanics of the inside, which even with my help only sort of works, but it does work. The rest of it is their design, their art, and their work, and it’s super cute!
