Today was the last day of in-class time to work on their seasons booklet. If they didn’t finish and turn it in, it’s homework for the weekend, due on Monday. If by chance they forgot to bring it home, and you’d like them to do it, give them three white pieces of paper, fold them in half, and staple them into a booklet. The rest they can follow along with below.
The cover should say the word seasons, have a by line, and a picture to go along with it.
The first set of pages on the inside should be a diagram explaining why we have seasons.
The remaining pages are for the seasons. Half the page should be used to present the facts about that season, and the other half will be a picture of what they think about when they think of that season. These pages will be extra beneficial if someone forgot to bring home their science notebook, because the “facts” that they’re supposed to use are listed on the pages below.
