Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Remember, there is only two days of school this week. We are off on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for the holiday.
Math: Math Blog
L.A.: We will be finishing up with “The Great Fire”. This will include a grammar lesson we didn’t get to last week (Reader’s Notebook pages 163-165). We will also take the spelling test for the words from last week.
Science: We will be continuing on with Seasons. They will be making a booklet that contains the facts they need to know about each season and a picture portraying what the seasons look like to them. They will be given all the supplies they need for this on Monday. They will have both days in class to work on it. It will be due the Monday we return from break.
EXCITING SCHOOL NEWS!!!
Hopefully by now, everyone is aware that Syracuse Arts Academy will be expanding next year. They will be building a K-6 satellite campus. The board has recently announced that the land they will be purchasing for this is just to the northeast of Syracuse High School. This will bring some changes, howver, all for the good in my opinion. The school board is hosting about the TOWN HALL MEETING on Tuesday November 25th in the Jr High Auditorium starting at 5:30 regarding the new school. If you have questions or concerns that you would like answered you are encouraged you to come to the meeting and to email your questions to the Board by Monday the 24th at 8pm per their request at.
