Please turn in today: Disclosures, Student Questionnaires, Pictures of a Scientist.
We will have a “walking field trip” this week. Please fill out the permission form for permission to participate.
Students brainstormed ideas of what a scientist is and what characteristics they posses. These were listed in Cornell notes.
Students were asked to draw a picture of a scientist. This is due tomorrow.
Requirements:
1. Must use the entire page
2. Must be colored and outlined in sharpie
3. Erase any pencil marks left over from drawing
Today we talked about models and looked at the FliP model. Students filled out a worksheet (attached) by using you tube clips and Scripps website

This worksheet was turned in at the end of class.
Students will create their own model of flip as a drawing on plain computer paper. They will work on these tomorrow in class.
Disclosures got handed out today! Bring them back signed since they are going to be worth 2 billion points!

Today we had our super fun introduction assembly! Love the Star Wars theme! Our student body officers and cheerleaders are awesome!
In science we talked about school wide rules such as how to behave in the lunchroom, how to be respectful to substitutes and how to act in the hallways. There will be a quiz on this on Friday! Don’t worry if you were listening it will be easy!
Please have your composition notebooks and writing utensils as soon as you can. We will begin using the notebooks Monday.
