Students need to work on Sea Monsters worksheet by highlighting evidence vs inferences. Also, we worked on a storyboard worksheet telling the story of Dolly using inferences and evidence. If you still need to watch the video it is available on Youtube.

We finished watching National Geographic’s Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure. Then we highlighted a worksheet of the movie’s storyboard on what was an inference and what was evidence in the movie using two different colored highlighters. We will be going over this in class tomorrow.
Today we went on the Walking Field trip to Jensen Trail. Please write in your Science notebook 10 examples of Qualitative observations and Quantitative observations. We also took in class notes.
Guided notes “Cohesion and Water Tension”
Performed another experiment using Dawn dish soap on the pennies to see if there was a difference between that and Sun dish soap.
Please answer the two questions on the bottom of the lab sheet from yesterday which are due on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
FLIP drawings were due today.
Class started watching Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure movie by National Geographic. Students will continue watching it through Monday then get a worksheet where students decide what is an inference and what is an observation.
