TEST THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

8th grade

Today students worked on a section review packet during class.  It was corrected at the end of class and is to be used for studying for the test, which is tomorrow.

 

7th grade

Today students learned how to prepare a lab slide and look at it under the microscope.  They filled out a worksheet and made drawings of different things they saw in the 4 samples of pond water.

Tomorrow we are reviewing for our test which will be on Thursday.

Today we picked an organelle to write a newspaper ad for. Students can choose which ever  organelle they wish and fill out the paper below. Please draw and color your ad.

We did a clozed activity today with the levels of organization of unicellular organisms. The worksheet is available in the classroom. The website that we visited was http://utahscience.oremjr.alpine.k12.ut.us/sciber00/7th/cells/sciber/levelorg.htm

Today’s objective was that the students will understand how the levels of organization exist in organisms.

8th grade

Today students took a quiz on friction using their friction notes and a textbook picture.  Also they worked on their friction collages which are due tomorrow.

 

7th grade

Students went to www.sheppardsoftware.com and read through the plant and animal tutorial, played the game for both plant and animal cells and took the quiz on animal cells.

Today’s notes are on Friction. Also we worked on a collage on the different types of friction. Unfortunately, my e-mail is not working and I’m not able to show a picture of the notes on the board at this time. Please come to class to get a copy.
