Today we finished the close reading model and started the close reading in pairs.

Today we worked on our “whole class” close reading of the selection from Edith Hamilton’s Mythology. We will finish that assignment tomorrow, so it will be collected tomorrow!

• Practiced writing a “perfect paragraph” with topic sentence, supporting details, and concluding sentence
