Shoe (Contour Line) Drawing

Friday, 9/6/2013, this project will start.

Due Friday, 9/13/ 2013.

Bring an interesting shoe for you to draw, or use one of the shoes off your feet. Tennis shoe, ice skate, cleats, boot, high heels, etc., will work for your drawing. I do have a few old shoes that may be used if you forget. A picture of a shoe is not acceptable.

We will be observing and drawing the three dimensional shoe in front of you using simple contour lines.

 

SHOE RUBRIC: Requirements: Bring in, or choose, a shoe. It cannot be a picture or drawing of a shoe. On drawing paper, 9 x 12, create an interesting realistic drawing. Draw with a regular #2 HB pencil. Do not use a mechanical pencil. Use your pencil to find correct angles and proportions as demonstrated in class. Concentrate on contour lines and details. Do not use value/shading or color. Keep it  clean.
