Art Foundations 1
Look at the work of the artist Kandinsky.
Create an abstract expressionistic work of art. Think of an emotion and feeling (in combination) you would like to express. What shapes and colors express that emotion? Do you need calm cool colors or bright vibrant colors? Do you need smooth shapes or harsh jagged shaped? How will you arrange your colors and shapes to create movement or emphasis that will express your idea? Do not use realistic shapes, and avoid icons (peace sign, clock, smiley face). Do not make it to simple. Check the write-up paper and the abstract expression rubric for more information.
Both the one paragraph and abstract expression artwork are due Friday, 1/10/14
