We will be making small sculptures or figurines that will have details and be interesting on all sides. Details include things like fingernails, berries, stitching, etc.
A figurine should be seen in the round. We want to encourage someone to look at it on all sides. There are several ways to do this. If you are doing an animal, human, or creature, turning the head of the form helps create movement. A twisting body does the same. Also sweeping lines that rotate around the form create movement, which makes someone want to see more of the figurine.
